Our Mission
Agape Community Center a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to help neighborhoods build community.
To accomplish this mission, the Center provides programs and facilitates community organizing for the residents of the Bolton Road community in Northwest Atlanta.
The Agape Community Center recognizes the need for resident self determination and citizen empowerment. Therefore, all programs are developed from the feedback and suggestions given by members of the community.
About Sue Wieland The Sue Wieland Embracing Possibility Award is a special grant of $10,000 to an AWF grantee partner organization. The selected organization demonstrates outstanding ability to make significant change in the generational cycle of poverty. This is demonstrated through their ongoing work and a woman or girl the organization sees as a shining example of their program.

Sue Wieland supports many Atlanta organizations, but The Atlanta Women’s Foundation has been particularly grateful for her generosity. She believes in giving generously to change the world by empowering women and girls. In 2006, Sue and her husband John made a $1 million gift to the Foundation. That generosity continues to be honored with the annual Sue Wieland Embracing Possibility Award.
